APL recognised as one of the best companies to work for in Indonesia

PT. Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari (APL) received an award from HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2018 (Indonesia Edition). HR Asia – Asia’s most authoritative publication for senior HR professionals – investigates best practices and the inner workings of companies, to understand what distinguishes them as employers. The Award covers 12 countries across the region, and culminates with an award ceremony in every country.

210 companies participated in this year’s award in Indonesia, with APL being one of 21 companies to receive the final award.

APL stood out because of their efforts in supporting the development of healthcare in Indonesia, in particular the JKN*, through their highly engaged team of 3000 employees across 26 branches in 434 cities.

Judges were impressed with the way that the business provides room for people to grow through meaningful work and creates opportunities for them to gain cross-functional exposure. High performing individuals can progress within the Company, both in Indonesia and in markets that parent company Zuellig Pharma operates in the region.

APL was also recognised for leveraging technology to improve collaboration and performance through recent investments in SAP, HR systems, Sales Force automation and Analytics.

Other winners this year included Unilever, Mundipharma, Manulife and Olam.
